Our private clients are seeking a Live-in Housekeeper for their newly renovated large-scale, high-end property equipped with indoor pool, gym, spa, cinema room, multiple bedroom suites and large living spaces. The clients also employ Head Housekeeper/House Manager and Estate Manager.
This role will require a candidate with previous experience working in private luxury residences for UHNW clients who has gained an in-depth understanding of what is required to ensure the smooth running of both a residence and family life. In this role, you will require a dynamic skill set, flexible attitude and be highly service oriented.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Working as part of a team of 4 Housekeepers to cover all high-end housekeeping, laundry, service and simple cooking duties
- Reporting to the Head/Housekeeper and following household processes and protocols
- Taking care of the property, fine furniture, fabrics and special finishes/ materials
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- Welcoming and taking care of guests
- Setting and laying of tables
- Food and drink service
- Occasionally cooking simple, fresh, healthy meals / food prep as required
The ideal candidate will be highly discreet, respecting the family’s private space within their home and being able to work in the background without supervision to consistently deliver impeccable standards and seamless service.
The clients will consider live-out candidates providing they are happy with the overnight stays when required.
Hours/Days: 40 hours per week on rota basis covering 8am – 4pm and 3pm – 11pm with an overnight stay. The overnight stay will be paid extra as during this time you will be expected to be on call in case needed.
Accommodation: Private suite within the staff quarters of the property with access to communal kitchenette and living area (shared with other live-in housekeepers)
Start date: April 2025
Salary: £45,000 gross per year (plus additional payments for overnight stays)
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
