Live-in Housekeeper/Cook

Our private client is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper/Cook for various residences around the world.

Duties will include working alongside another live-in Housekeeper/Cook to cover all housekeeping including but not limited to cleaning, ironing, laundry, pet care, running errands, arranging repairs, packing and unpacking, etc. There will also be daily cooking, the principal enjoys healthy, family style meals. 

This is an intimate role where the principal and team of 2 will spend a lot of time together forming strong relationships and working closely with each other to create a smooth and harmonious lifestyle. The principal is the owner of a small dog, so being a dog lover is a must. The role would suit someone with an adventurous spirit who is happy to travel to different locations around the world, the client will stay in each residence for at least 3 months at any given time, but could easily settle in one location for a year so the candidate needs to be free of dependants and ties to any specific location allowing them to move freely with the principal, seeing this role as a lifestyle and not just a job.

The ideal candidate will have a warm demeanour, be a strong team player, service oriented and have super flexible, can-do attitude who is always happy to receive feedback, learn, and help where needed. It is essential that applicants have previous longevity in roles (at least 3- 5+ years), have the right to work in UK and speak fluent English. It would be a bonus to have Spanish as an additional language and to have a driving license.

Working days & hours: 50 hours per week (must be flexible with working times)

Accommodation: Provided in all locations, private

Start date: March-May 2025

Salary: £45,000 gross per year

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
