Live-in Housekeeper/Cook/Nanny in Yorkshire

Our returning clients are seeking a Live-in Housekeeper/Cook/ Nanny/ All-rounder for their large Manor House home to family of 5 and 2 pet dogs located close to York. The family also employ another member of staff who cares for the family’s horses and carries out general estate work.

Duties will include:

• All housekeeping to a good standard (the house contains lots of original wood panelling plus some fine materials so being confident to clean at a specialist level is a must)


• Tidying and organising the home


• Daily cooking (family style meals like pasta dishes, curries, roasts etc)


• Helping with the children on an ad hoc basis (plus evening babysitting)


• Errand running and other domestic duties in relation to the smooth running of busy family life

The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and discreet. It would be a bonus if the candidate was a driver given the remote location.

Start date: ASAP

Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom on own floor with private staircase

Working hours: 50 hours per week – Core hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 – 20:30 (with some flexibility and regular evening babysitting)

Salary: £40,000 gross per year

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
