Our returning client is currently seeking an experienced House Manager in their beautiful, fully staffed Surrey residence to oversee daily operations.
To ensure that the household meets its budget/financial goals, maintains operational excellence and achieves long-term success that is in line with the principals’ aspirations and values.
The role demands exceptional organizational skills, advanced management capabilities, and a strong commitment to providing unparalleled hospitality.
To act as the main point of contact for all household matters and collaborate with the principals, team and vendors to ensure the principals’ needs are met, and the household is run, with the utmost attention, care and discretion.
Candidates with a Family Butler or Chief Stewardess background will be of particular interest, and you must live within an hours commute of Weybridge.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Property management
- Household management
- Staff management
- Visitor management
- Vehicle & transport management
- Pet care
- Household administration and reporting
- Childcare support & logistics
Requirements:
- Proven track record as an Estate/House Manager, Butler, or a similar role in a private residence or luxury hospitality establishment
- Prior experience in single or multi-family office environment will be an advantage
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A high degree of discretion
- Strong financial acumen
- Superior knowledge in household management
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Proactive, great flexibility and adaptability in responding to changes and requests
- Hands-on approach, if and where required
- Ideally, Degree/Diploma in Administration, Management or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in Office365 applications, systems design and implementation, and project management.
- Valid driver’s license and a car
Working Days/Hours: Work is performed in a residential environment from Mondays to Fridays, 0900 to 1800 hrs, out of hours support may be required including weekends and bank holidays
Salary: £80k+ gross DOE

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
