Part-time Housekeeper in Holland Park

Our private client is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for his 5-storey Townhouse in Notting Hill. The principal is a single gentleman who hosts on occasion and travels regularly plus spends weekends in his countryside property. As the principal lives alone, only 2 floors of the property are used regularly so housekeeping will be focused here, and other floors will only need to be maintained.

Duties will include:

-General housekeeping (the principle is in residence 80% of the time)

-Laundry - including specialist items

-Ironing

-Stocking the fridge when principal is around, managing stock of dried items & buying fresh

when needed.

-Weekly flower arrangements in the house

-Packing / unpacking for trips

-Light house management

-Helping set up for events - dinners, bbqs, birthday parties

-Ad hoc errands

-Weekly household checks

Candidates should we well-presented with excellent verbal and written English, be a strong communicator, highly discreet yet good humoured, and above all, have a good eye for detail, enjoy making the home look beautiful and take pride in the smooth running of the home through their work. Previous experience working for HNW clients is essential and the ideally, this will be the candidate's only job so will have flexibility to work extra hours/ change days on request.

Start date: ASAP

Working days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9/9:30am - 2/2:30pm

Salary: £20 - £25+ per hour (DOE)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
