Live in/out Housekeeper in Berkshire

Our HNW client is currently seeking an experienced, child-friendly, loyal Housekeeper to work with her family in Berkshire, near Newbury.

The family have three young children and working alongside a Nanny and other household staff, they are seeking someone flexible, enthusiastic and energetic.

The property is on 4 storeys, has 10 bedrooms and is a busy family home.

The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, know how to maintain a home to high standards and ensure the household is left orderly, clean, and tidy each evening.

As well as general household duties and laundry someone keen to assist in the kitchen is key as the family do entertain and the Principal will need occasional help with food prep.

Typical duties will include (but not limited to) –

• All housekeeping duties, hands-on tidying, cleaning, organising etc


• Family laundry and ironing


• Changing the linens when required


• Food prep and assistance in the kitchen


• Ad hoc household shopping


• Deep cleaning when they family are away


• Occasional errand running

Requirements:

• Previous long term experience for a HNW family working in a buy family home


• Excellent general housekeeping and laundry skills


• Presentable and excellent English language skills


• Discrete


• Loyal, flexible and hardworking


• Driver is a must


• Happy to assist in the kitchen as required


• Child & dog friendly (one cocker spaniel)

Working Days/Hours: 12 hour day; 5 days per week including one day in the  weekend

Accommodation: Separate accommodation, one bedroom, living room and kitchen

Salary: £45-55k DOE

To start: ASAP

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
