Our private clients are seeking a child-friendly, live-in Housekeeper / All-Rounder to support a lovely single mother and her two children (aged 7 and 11) in their beautiful countryside home in Pennington, Hampshire.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Full housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, ironing)
- Running the home and keeping things organised
- Cooking simple, healthy family meals (3 meals per day)
- Helping with school runs and after-school activities
- Providing occasional sole charge support when mum is working
- Flexibility to travel with the family occasionally to London or abroad
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced, hands-on, and proactive, who takes pride in maintaining a well-run household and genuinely enjoys being around children and animals (the family has two guinea pigs and two dwarf rabbits) and is seeking a long-term position. Being a driver is essential, a car will be provided.
Working days & hours: 6:45am – 7pm (with breaks during the day), 5 days per week (including weekends)
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom
Start date: April 2025
Salary: £50,000 gross per year
