Part-time Housekeeper in Highbury

Our private clients are seeking a part-time, live-out Housekeeper for their 5-bedroom property home to family of 5 and pet dog based near Highbury and Islington station. The family also employ a second part-time Housekeeper.

Duties will include –

• All hands-on cleaning to a high standard


• Organisation of the home


• Cleaning appliances, oven, fridge etc


• Changing bed linens


• Laundry and ironing


• Wardrobe Management


• Periodic deep cleaning


• Errand running


• Household shopping/provisioning


• Dealing with tradespeople


• Working alongside the 2nd Housekeeper 2 afternoons per week


• Very occasional school pick-up/ light supervision of older children


• Family cooking (would be a bonus but not essential)


• Any other duty in relation to the upkeep and smooth running of the property

The ideal candidate will be a good team player who can communicate well for an effective collaboration with the other Housekeeper. Being child and dog friendly is a must, and a confident cook would be a bonus.

Working hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am – 5pm

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £20 per hour on self-employed basis (payroll could be considered for the right person)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
