- Description
We are seeking a professional, experienced Chef to join the household of a high-profile Ukrainian family based in Mayfair. The role will involve preparing and cooking meals for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) with a focus on healthy, varied, and delicious meals. The Chef will work in a private home and provide a high standard of culinary service for the family.
Working Hours:
- 5 days on, 2 days off on a rota basis, including some weekends
- 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family, ensuring meals are nutritious, varied, and tailored to the family’s preferences.
- Cater for children’s meals, ensuring they are balanced and age appropriate.
- Ensure the kitchen is always maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
- Manage pantry inventory, grocery shopping, and meal planning.
- Special attention to dietary requirements (if any), although no allergies are specified.
- Work closely with the family to ensure a smooth culinary experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a professional chef, ideally in a private household or high-end restaurant setting.
- Excellent cooking skills, particularly in preparing meals for families, including children.
- Ability to create a variety of dishes, with flexibility to adapt to dietary needs and preferences.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Discretion, professionalism, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
