Live-in German speaking Nanny in Zurich

On behalf of our private client, a warm and welcoming family of five, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced German speaking Nanny to care for their three daughters, aged 6, 5, and 3 years old in Zurich.

The role is to work on a rotating schedule alongside the current Nanny, who has been with them since 2021. While the Nannies typically work separately, collaboration is often required, particularly when travelling.

The family is looking for a warm, positive, and energetic nanny who is both creative and firm, able to seamlessly integrate into family life and take a solution-oriented approach.

A valid driver’s license is essential. A car will be provided for both nursery duties and personal use.

The children enjoy a variety of activities, including skiing, tennis, art, ballet, reading, and imaginative play, and the family is looking for a nanny who can foster their interests while maintaining a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive and engaging childcare


• Preparing nutritious meals for the children


• Organizing and tidying the children’s rooms


• Managing their laundry (with support from the household laundress)


• Assisting with homework and creative activities


• Supporting structured routines and fostering independence


• Working alongside a full-time housekeeper and another nanny


• Occasionally assisting with walking the family’s two hypoallergenic Australian Labradoodles


• Travel throughout the year, including annual trips to the USA, and various locations in Europe. From December to March, the family spends every weekend in St. Moritz, as well as two consecutive weeks over the Christmas. Additional travel includes three weeks in August and two weeks in October in St. Moritz.

Salary & Benefits:

• CHF 4,200 net per month


• 13th-month salary bonus

• 4 weeks of annual leave

Eligibility:

• Must be EU/EFTA passport holders


• Available to start in May 2025

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
