- Description
On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a Cook/Housekeeper to work for them in their property in South Kensington. The role is 80% cooking and 20% housekeeping. The family consists of 2 principles and 2 children.
The ideal Cook will be experienced, specialises in Italian cooking and has worked with Italian families before, passionate about cooking and flexible.
The household has other staff such as a housekeeper and nanny.
Schedule: 7am – 11am then 5 hours break in between (11am – 4pm) and then 4pm to 9pm.
Duties but not limited to:
- Cooking and serving breakfast to the family
- Cooks and packs lunch for children
- Preparing lunches and dinners (children eat by 6:30 and the principles by 8)
- Making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy
- The family has housekeeper however, a bit of cleaning to make sure the ground floor is neat and presentable
- Going to the shops to do grocery/food shopping (all other shopping is done online.)
On Fridays the family does not requiring any cleaning, however, would like if there could be meal-preps done for the weekend.
The family travels to the countryside estate and would like to ideal Cook/Housekeeper to accompany them for maximum of a 3-week duration in a year.
Accommodation: A room with a bathroom in the basement

Salary: £40K gross per year + (depending on the experience).
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
