On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a Live-out Nanny near London Bridge to care for a 14-month-old boy.
The ideal Nanny will be warm, caring, kind, empathetic, passionate about childcare, proactive, and have great attention to detail. A German, Mandarin, or Italian speaker would be a bonus.
This position is a mixture of sole charge and shared care with the mother, so a collaborative and team-oriented attitude is essential.
The family is currently based in the London Bridge area but plans to relocate to Primrose Hill/Hampstead within the next year.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the child
- Organising age-appropriate activities and outings to support developmental milestones
- Preparing healthy, balanced meals for the child and cooking for the family
- Promoting independence and early learning through play and creative activities
- Supporting the family with light nursery-related housekeeping (e.g. tidying toys, laundry for the child)
- Encouraging healthy routines, including naps, feeding, and hygiene
- Following child-led (e.g. Montessori) approach or showing an interest in it
- Occasional babysitting or flexibility for evening support (optional)
- Travel with the family would be a bonus, but is not essential
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
- 3 full days: 10 hours per day
- 2 half days: 5 hours per day
(Flexibility required, with Friday afternoon off)
Salary: Up to £25 gross per hour (DOE)
Start date: ASAP
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
