Our professional client is currently seeking a polished and proactive Receptionist to be the face of their office in Marylebone.
The receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing front-desk responsibilities, and supporting the broader team with administrative tasks.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while providing exceptional service to clients and team members.
The company is a dynamic, fast-growing venture capital and real estate firm. The team operates in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where professionalism, discretion, and efficiency are key.
Additionally, the receptionist will provide direct support to the CEO's PA/Office Manager in various administrative duties.
Duties include (but not limited to):
• Meet/greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
• Manage meeting room bookings and prepare spaces for client meetings
• Coordinate couriers, deliveries, and incoming/outgoing mail
• Maintain office supplies and ensure the office areas remain organized
• Provide administrative support to the team when needed
• Handle document management including scanning and binding presentations
• Assist with expense management and invoicing
• Conduct basic research when needed
• Assist with new onboarding employees
• Assist with the organization of team events
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role in an office environment.
• Ideally, experience in a similar start up environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office software
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• The role can be very fast paced and busy but there are other times when it has a slower pace and so the Receptionist must be proactive in their approach and will use their initiative to support the office where needed.
Working Days/Hours: Full Time (Monday- Friday 8.30am-5.30pm)
Salary: £35-40k gross per year

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
