On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking 2-3 experienced gardeners to join a growing team in Domodossola, Piedmont, Italy. The role is local, and live-out, and requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the EU or Switzerland. The team is transitioning from working with an external company to creating its in-house team, providing an exciting opportunity for those looking to be part of a new, dynamic work environment.
Days of work: 5 days per week
Hours: 40 hours
Responsibilities and duties:
- Lawn care – Mowing, trimming, and fertilizing the lawn.
- Planting and maintaining plants – Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; ensuring proper watering and pruning.
- Garden design and planning – Organizing and designing garden layouts based on seasonal changes and aesthetic goals.
- Weeding and pest control – Removing weeds and applying eco-friendly pest control methods.
- Soil care – Testing soil health, adding compost, and ensuring proper drainage.
- General garden upkeep – Keeping pathways clear, managing compost bins, and maintaining garden tools.
- Seasonal tasks – Preparing the garden for different seasons (e.g., planting seasonal flowers or prepping the garden for winter).
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
