- Description
On behalf of a private client we are looking for a Temporary Live-out Housekeeper to provide holiday cover in a Kensington home. The role involves general housekeeping, with a bonus for cooking skills, and occasional care for three small dogs. Ideal candidates should be comfortable around pets. There may be an opportunity for future cover if the placement goes well. An NDA is required.
Assignment dates: 17th March 2025 to 31st March 2025
Hours: 10 am to 2 pm (possible extra hours if the housekeeper is able to cook)
Responsibilities and duties:
Housekeeping:
- General cleaning of the home (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy
- Managing household supplies and notifying the principal of any shortages
Cooking (Bonus but Not Essential):
- Preparing simple meals such as roast chicken, Bolognese, and chili con carne
- Cleaning up after meal preparation
Pet Care:
- Being comfortable around and interacting with three small dogs
- Ensuring they have fresh food and water
- Occasional dog walking (a dog walker is already in place)
Other Duties:
- Following any specific requests from the principal regarding household tasks
- Adhering to confidentiality and signing an NDA
Salary: £20+ gross per hour
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
