Senior Sous Chef in Strangford

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their culinary career.

The Cuan Restaurant and Hotel is a renowned boutique hotel and award-winning 100 seat restaurant, in the heart of Strangford Village, County Down. Primarily showcasing exceptional seafood and fresh local produce.

What we are looking for:

• A talented and creative chef with a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients


• Strong leadership skills to support the Head Chef and inspire our kitchen team


• Responsibility for the kitchen to cover holiday or days off for the Head Chef


• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Sous Chef in high-quality dining, with a focus on seafood and local cuisine


• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment


• A team player with a positive and professional attitude

• Low season: October to March - reduced hour

Peak season:

• Fri & Sat - last orders 8.45pm. Finish by 10pm.


• Sun to Thurs - last orders 7.45pm Finish by 9pm.

Salary: £40k based on experience (plus tips)
