Our HNW private client based in London is seeking an exceptional experienced travelling full-time housekeeper.
This is a fantastic opportunity to look after a semi-formal household with exceptionally high standards.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt to occasional changes in days and hours of work, be an energetic and dynamic housekeeper happy to work (5) days a week flexibly.
The successful candidate must be dog friendly as you may occasionally help to step in with dog feeding when both principals are on holiday etc.
Working day(s)/Hour(s): (5) days per week flexible on days - 10:00(am) - 7:00(pm) with occasional weekends when required
Please note being able to travel is essential and paramount to the success of the role.
(6) months in Kensington London
(6) Months travelling to and from London LA, Switzerland, France (in winter months)
Duties are but not limited to:
- Keeping house clean and tidy throughout the day.
- General laundry and ironing including daily laundry, ironing and change of towels plus weekly change of bedding.
- Clothing care- Washing, ironing and steaming plus organising clothes, shoes etc. to dry cleaners, cobblers etc.
- Standard Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, China, collectibles, crystal and silver polishing.
- Keep constant supply of household essentials (water, coffee etc.) and cleaning materials.
- Prepare for arrival of visitors and various needs when staying.
- Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for journeys.
- Shopping and ad hoc errands as required. Maintenance when principals are not in residence.
- Co-ordinating deliveries and maintenance visits.
- Cooking of simple, tasty, classic meals is beneficial.
Salary: £40K - £60K gross per year
Accommodation: will be provided when not in London.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 4 years consecutive relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
