Live-out Travelling Housekeeper in Kensington

On behalf of our returning HNW client, we are looking for an energetic and dynamic Housekeeper to join a semi-formal household in Kensington.

This is a London based role, with up to 6 months of travel per year.  Accommodation will be provided when not in London.

Must be flexible and willing to adapt to occasional changes in days and hours.

Good English and communication skills are essential.

Longevity in all previous roles is non-negotiable, along with very good written and verbal references for all previous positions.

You must be dog friendly and despite most dog care being done by the Dog Caring team, you may occasionally have to step in with feeds when they are on holiday etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping, both regular and deep cleaning


• Wardrobe management: washing, ironing, steaming plus organising clothes and accessories.


• Maintaining upkeep of furniture, art, china, collectables; crystal and silver polishing.


• Inventory and provisioning of household essentials (water, coffee, etc) and cleaning materials.


• Prepare for the arrival of visitors, and look after their needs needs whilst staying.


• Packing and unpacking for journeys.


• Shopping and ad hoc errands as required.


• Maintenance when principals are not in residence.


• Coordinating deliveries and maintenance visits.


• Cooking simple, tasty, classic meals is beneficial, but not required. 

Salary: £55-60K gross per year D.O.E

Hours: Flexible around 10am-7pm

Days: 5 per week, flexible

Holiday: 25 days

Live-out position (live-in possible when travelling/working late hours)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
