Live-in Early-Onset Dementia Carer in Dubai

On behalf of our esteemed UHNW client, we are seeking a Live-In/Out Dementia Carer, in Dubai. 

You will be taking charge of an Early-Onset Dementia patient: the Principal is energetic and active, however she requires 24/7 care.

Extensive experience in caring for Dementia patients, as well as a profound understanding of the condition, are essential.

Any relevant qualification would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Patient in her daily routine: eat, dress, shower, etc.,...


• Taking the patient on walks, entertainment, and other activities that give her happiness 


• Ensuring the Nurses keep accurate records of day and night activities, as well as hourly updates


• Communicating with medical staff such as doctors, nurses, clinics


• Make Appointments and be constantly with the patient


• Communicate the daily activities of the patient to the family and management (via internal group chats)


• Keeping an accurate track of all expenses incurred relating to the Principal's daily living, and reporting them to the Family/Accountant.

Ideal candidate: 

• Must be a positive person, with a strong sense of self


• Extensive experience caring for Dementia patience


• Excellent communicator (English language)


• Must be presentable, as they will accompany the Principal at many family gatherings


• Willing to travel nationally/internationally with the Family, as required


• Locally available candidates would be preferred, however transfer will be arranged for the right candidate.

Working Days: 6 per week (the day off can be chosen, as long as there is adequate cover in place)

Working hours: 8am to 8pm (with breaks in between)

Salary: AED 20,000/month NET

(equivalent to EUR 5000/month NET => EUR 60,000/year NET)
