On behalf of our returning UHNW client, we are seeking an experienced Laundry Valet, to work in their fully-staffed residence in Knightsbridge.
Your role will focus on Laundry and Wardrobe Management.
The ideal Valet will have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within 5* hotels or UHNW private households.
Proficiency in handling delicate fabrics, ironing, steaming and pressing are essential.
Excellent organisational skills, a great eye for details and working to a very high standard are essential requirements in this role.
Candidates who also possess good housekeeping skills are at an advantage.
Main responsibilities:
- Laundry to very high standards, washing, ironing, steaming, pressing and folding.
- Wardrobe Management: inventory and storage of clothes, shoes and personal accessories
- Packing/unpacking
- Learning the principal's preferences and routines
- Any ad-hoc duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Experience working as a Laundry Valet in a 5* hotel is highly desirable
Working hours: 40 per week
Working shifts: 9am - 6pm or 11am - 8pm (weekend shifts on a rota basis)
Start date: ASAP
Salary: starting from £40K gross per annum, DOE
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
