Live-out Head Housekeeper in Germany

Our private clients are seeking a highly experienced, full-time Head Housekeeper for their large, high-end property in Munich, Germany home to family of 4. You be in charge of the properties housekeeping department and manage a team of 2 housekeepers and a cleaner. You will be supported by a House Manager who works across multiple properties.

Duties will include managing 2 Housekeepers as well as all hands-on housekeeping to impeccable standards, laundry for delicate materials and fine linen, household shopping and errands, dealing with tradespeople, simple family style cooking, maintenance of the garden

It is essential that applicants have previous managerial experience, 5+ years of high-end housekeeping experience for luxury properties/ HNW clients, be extremely confident in the care of fine materials, furniture, fittings, and fabrics, and have good longevity in previous roles.

Candidates must hold an EU passport and drivers' licence, be flexible to work evenings and weekends and speak either fluent English and/or German. The ideal candidate will be discreet and responsible and someone who is confident with technology would be a bonus.

This is a live-out position, but the family will arrange accommodation for the first 3 months of employment plus one off travel expenses if the candidate is relocating. The family will offer 26 - 30 days annual leave per year that must be taken when the family are also on holiday.

Working days & hours: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with flexibility to work evenings and weekends on request in exchange for extra time off during the week.

Salary: €4,200 - €4,700 NET PER MONTH (Depending on experience)
