Our private family is seeking an experienced family housekeeper/cook for their family home in St Johns Wood. Ready to start now!
This is a fantastic, opportunity to look after an HNW family delivering the very best standards. Forming part of the household staffing team, the ideal candidate will be a team player possess an eye for detail, be happy, dedicated, loyal, reliable and most of all looking for a long-term position where growth and development will contribute to your individual success.
Comfortable with (small) dogs is also important.
The ideal housekeeper/cook will be responsible for the family kitchen.
Knowledgeable about Kosher foods, confident in food handling, possess exceptionally high standards, happy to follow recipes. Most importantly, have an eye for detail making sure the family home is very well presented, have a good attitude, remains calm and confident, an energetic person who takes pride in their work looking for a long-term position.
Working Day(s) and Hour(s): Monday's and Tuesday 09:00 - 7:00(pm) - sole charge working
Thursdays and Fridays 1:00(pm) - 7:00(pm) - working along part-time housekeeper.
(with breaks throughout the working day)
Total working hour(s): (30) a week
Every Wednesday and weekends off - however flexibility required if needed for guests/when entertaining.
There may also be an increase in hours over a period of time for the right candidate - however this is not guaranteed.
Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 net per hour (depending on qualifications, skills and experience).

50% Cooking duties (but not limited to):
" Cooking Kosher meals
" Online shopping for fresh ingredients or reporting to the PA what ingredients are need
" Cooking meals (ready to eat or to heat up later in the day)
" Kitchen hygiene awareness
" Keeping stock of kitchen materials
" Load/unload dishwasher
" Suggest meal planning for the week ahead.
50% Housekeeping duties (but not limited to):
" All weekend related housekeeping
" Vacuuming
" Dusting
" Polishing
" Making and changing bed linen
" Cleaning of bathrooms
" Changing towels
" Overall maintain cleanliness of family home
" All laundry
" Washing
" Ironing
" Folding Sorting
" Dog walking (with the team on rota)
Essential Requirements;
" Previous experience of working within a similar role
" Very well presented in personal appearance
" Good communication skills
" High standards and great attention to detail
" DBS Report (or happy to undergo process if required)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
