Native-French Speaking Nanny in Hampstead

On behalf of our private clients based in Hampstead, we are looking for a Native-French Speaking Nanny to look after their 3 children aged 8, 9 and 12 years old.

The ideal Nanny will be experienced, fun, energetic, trustworthy, discrete and educationally focused. Previous experience as a teacher would be a big bonus. Also, being a swimmer and a driver is mandatory.

This role involves travelling with the family.

The household is fully staffed, it consists of housekeepers and chefs therefore being a team-player is important and they need to help where needed.

Duties but not limited to:

• All childcare duties


• Light Housekeeping and meal prepping for the children


• Organising activities


• Making sure the children are prepared for the next day


• Organise mind stimulating activities for the children 


• Play sports with them such as tennis, swimming and football.


• Look after the friends of the children when they come over for playdates


• Occasionally helping the family with other household errands relating to the children.


• Speaking to them in French and encouraging activities that strengthen language skills


• Planning ahead and ongoing research to keep a list of seasonal/indoor/outdoor activities for them to do during half term or weekends. Liaising with weekend nanny


• During travels planning in advance what children can do in a new country.

Days and hours of work: The clients require flexibility for the start times

During term-time: 3-9pm, Mon - Friday

During holidays: 8/9am – 8/9pm.

Also, 3 night babysitting will be required with the flexibility of staying overnights.

Start date: September 2024

Salary: £65K - £75K gross per year (Depending on experience and qualifications)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
