On behalf of our private client based in Lugano, we are looking for an experienced candidate to provide expertise in managing a newly renovated 500 sqm interior penthouse apartment with 450sqm exterior.
This is a multi-functional, very hands on role that requires flexibility with a can-do attitude and some Italian language skills.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Care and maintenance of property
- Specific laundry standards for bespoke male clothing- knowledge of how to handle, iron and treat materials required
- Table service when Principal is in residence (part time, maximum 4-5 days at a time)
- Assist with entertaining (up to 4 guests for dinner occasionally)
- Weekly reporting and managing of own cash to local management
- Potential short travel (Intereuropean flights) occasionally for errands (once or twice a year)
- Any tailoring skills are a bonus
- Ideally (not a must) a driver for occasional driving duties when Principal in residence (luxury vehicle)
Requirements:
- European Passport (in order to be able to obtain a Swiss working permit).
- Ideally lives in Lugano or close by – reasonable accommodation can be provided nearby for the right person
- Experienced in High End Housekeeping for high end luxury property and materials
- Speaks some Italian and fluent English
- Self-motivation and positive attitude
- Ideally, ex experienced Stew/Chief Stew/super yachts experience with housekeeping skills and experience
Working Days & Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday when Principal is not in residence and as required including weekends and evenings, when he is in residence
Salary: 6K-6.5K CHF gross per month
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
