- Description
On behalf of our private clients, we are looking for a Lead Tutor for their children, 2 boys aged 10 and 7 years old as well as their 3 girls aged 12, 8 and 5 years old in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be empathetic, passionate about teaching and patient.
The consists of 4 tutors and 5 teachers, so it is essential to be a team player.
Duties:
- Develop lesson plans and themes in line with the school’s curriculum (French system)
- Coordinate with other teachers/tutors for planning/scheduling of urgent work i.e.. assignments, revisions, assessment preparation, etc.
- Manage/create daily schedule of lessons along with other activities like sports and other trainings and appointments.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, story-time, math, science, cooking, etc.
- Mentor and guide other teachers when needed
- Observe, assess and support the progress of children
- Working in partnership with parents, communicating important notes on children on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of the French curriculum
Working hours: 5 days per week, 8 to 10 hours per day
Salary: 5000 euros net
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
